Memphis Sounds

                                                                                   Memphis Sounds
What do Elvis, Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison have in common? If you said ‘music’, you would be right. If you said ‘Memphis Sounds’, you would be even more right. Memphis Sounds’ cafés and restaurants are homage to locally grown legends. The city, Memphis also hosts a three-day music festival, The Beale Street Music Festival. And, there is one place that takes it even further: Every evening, Memphis Sounds Lounge hosts world-class entertainment for visitors from all over the globe. In a cozy and intimate atmosphere, some jazz it up with the Blues and some rock you with their rhythm.

The Memphis Sounds Lounge is now open at the Econo Lodge Downtown hotel, where it moved to from the Benchmark Hotel in 2008. Just like its music, Memphis loves its food also to be smokin’ hot. The city holds the largest pork-barbecue-cooking contest. Econo Lodge Downtown has its own version of the barbecue magic, served at A&R Barbecue. You could also chill out at their cocktail lounge with a signature drink.

Good food, good music, and an eclectic crowd at the Lounge are guaranteed to keep you coming back for a bigger bite of the best local entertainment that Memphis has to offer.

Located in the Econo Lodge of Downtown Memphis Tn., right in the heart of Downtown Memphis. Surrounded by the Autozone Park, home of the Memphis Red Birds, The Fedex Forum, home of the Memphis Grizzlies and all of the major concerts in Memphis, The National Civil Rights Museum, Beale St, The Cook Convention Center, and the soon coming Bass Pro Shop.

Memphis Sounds is a lounge with a family-like atmosphere, a place where you can come and enjoy our Happy Hour after a long day at work, and unwind before retiring home for the night, and if you are in the mood to have a little more fun, you can join us on Thursday nights for Karaoke, where you are the star entertainer. Our Friday through Sunday nights are even more exciting because you have the opportunity to enjoy the best live bands that Memphis has to offer, where Blues, Jazz, and R&B meet to create a melodic sound for the mature listner.
